Online Reservation and Monitoring System for Tarlac College of Agriculture Dormitories

This study on the development and validation of Online Reservation and Monitoring System for Tarlac College of Agriculture Dormitories was undertaken to develop a system that would ease and improve the record keeping system and establish a communication between parents, dwellers and dorm managers without personal contact with each other. The Rapid Application Development with Iterative Prototyping was used as bases for the development of the software. Free and Open Source Softwares was used as a tool in the development of the system because of its economical contribution to the beneficiaries. The descriptive survey method of research was used in this study. A questionnaire-checklist was used as an instrument in gathering data needed from IT experts, including the dormitory staff, dwellers and parents of the occupants in evaluating the system's reliability and user friendliness. Five Information Technology Experts of their renowned expertise in system development judged the Online Reservation and Monitoring System for Tarlac College of Agriculture Dormitories. Their comments and suggestions were consolidated and analyzed for the future improvement of the system.
